Al Diwan
Early in the evening At Diwan is a quiet venue serving traditional Lebanese meze and grills, with extensive menus, fabulously large portions and all at good value. Around midnight the lights dim and • -music starts, but not even the hypnotic gyrations the belly dancer can distract you from noticing the steeply increased prices. Set menu diners may feel distinctly unwelcome as bigger spending punters arrive, but the food quality is good, the shisha excellent and the service is right on the money, despite you spending lots of it here.
