Ayam Zaman

The Ascot Hotel houses Ayam Zaman and its rather distinctive Lebanese kitchen. Friendly waiters are proud of what they serve. As they should be, especially when they spread out the eleven delicious cold mezes followed by eight mouthwatering hot ones. The unusually fine stuffed grape leaves deserve a mention, as do the juicy chicken livers and crunchy sesame cakes. Belly dancers and beverages raise the cost of an evening, but Ayam Zaman repays much of the price with wholly satisfying fare.
