Chinese Pavilion
For a no frills, hearty Chinese meal, make a beeline for Chinese Pavilion. Tucked away in an almost obscure corner of the Jumeirah Beach Centre, this understated venue offers ample choice at decent prices. An easy interior offsets a tasty menu, with favourites including the Singapore Chicken and Shanghai Squid. The restaurant has no licence to sell alcohol, but it's no bad thing since the hot jasmine tea will complement your meal perfectly.
